Home-made Cleaners in a Pinch!

When your in a pinch and are out of money in a pinch will help you find the items in your home that will help cut back a bit or make it until you have funds to purchase what you need.

I clean the bath tub with comet, I get it at the Dollar Store for .50. If I am out of Comet, I use baking soda and vingar to clean tough surfaces. This can also be used to clean sinks, and toilets.

I love to use vingar and newspapers to clean glass and mirrors in the home. I don't eve purchase glass cleaner anymore this is so cheap and works great there is no need to reason to buy it.

My third tip I will leave you with in Home-Made Cleaners is this, remember lemon is a great natural scent, so when your freshing up or doing a good hard clean a little silver of lemon will make the room smell wonderful for almost nothing at all!

A New Direction to Living for Less?

As each year passes we always find new and different to live for less. Back when my grandparents were alive you think had cable tv and a cell phone? Not a chance, even though cell phones hadn't been invented yet.

I am taking a look at different ways to live on less with out it hurting so bad. I can remember when I was a child and my parents were divorced I was still pretty young about 8 or so. I stayed with my mother and my sister stayed with our father. I can remember many nights going to bed hungry, waking up hungry and not getting any lunch unless it was a school day and then I would get a big bill to take to my mother at the end of the day and she would ask me how come I ate at school? I am sure most people didn't grow up this way. Looking back on it now, my mother made bad choices she always had smokes and what ever type of drink she wanted but never had time for me or money to buy silly stuff like food.

Ok, I will get off the past because I am working for the future and for my children. We live in a very expensive part of the country. I am lucky, I am able to use the commissary to do shopping however, it isn't always the best deal. I am a deal seeker I want the .69 chicken breast and the dollar a bag frozen veggies. I do find these deals and I will show you how to find the deals too... I am on a quest to make not only make my budget a bit tighter I want to do it making good food, heart healthy food and change my path on how I eat and what I feed my family.

I will up post my progress for you my readers and let you know how I do and I will continue to add freebies and coupons daily~ If you have any advice on this subject please share it with me.

More Family

This is at Universal Studios Hollywood, CA with the Halo guy. I had no idea then how much my kids would love the game Halo! This picture was taken several years ago! Oh how I miss going to Universal what an awesome place.

So here we are it is Saturday afternoon, my son is at a Madden Tournment at the PX on here on the base. I am searching the web for freebies and yes when I find them I will of course share. My husband and daughter are down stairs talking about home improvements and horse, I am not sure how that goes together but somehow it does for them. I wanted to share with you today some of my 8 pets.

This baby is Spike, she is a girl, 7 years old and has been a very good member of our family. I posted the other baby in an earlier post. Spike has been with us for 6 years we got her in Pensacola Florida in 2003 she was one when we got her. She is such a good girl and I honestly think she knows it. This doesn't have anything to do with living for less, I know but for me, she is my company when the kids are at school and my husband is at work, Spike and Kona we all take a nap together.
